According to All Things D, Apple will hold the event
introducing the new iPhone on 10/9 here. All Things D last year had given the
exact time of the launch event for the iPhone 5, iPad mini, so we can see it as
a reliable source. As usual, perhaps Apple's new iPhone will run iOS 7, which
